"Dreams & Nightmares, or What Love is and is Not"

The Highland Art Center and Human Response Network collaborated in producing this exhibit that includes art from adults and students through out Trinity County.

We had a wonderful night at the Art Cruise this month! We got to celebrate the two winners of the People's Choice Awards for the Dreams and Nightmares show. Karen Hammer won in the adult bracket for her depiction of the love between great teachers and their students.

Macy Senter won in the youth bracket for her sketch representing the two sides of an abusive relationship.

Jagger Mowrer received honorable mention for a pastel piece illustrating a healthy and a damaged heart.

We also got to enjoy a surprise pop up show by Farris and Eva Ryan! Their graphic design and paper cut artwork is a fun addition to the gallery this month.
Thank you to HRN for supporting the arts, for curating such a poignant and powerful show, and for investing in our local community through your advocacy programs!
