Trinity County is most fortunate to have 5 fine arts galleries and a number of artists' studios that are open to the public during regular business hours.
The Historic District of Weaverville includes 4 art galleries, a fine art jeweler, and an antique store that showcases original art from the ages, Sweet Sheep Yarn Shop providing a wide selection of specialty yarns and classes about crochet and knitting, Angela's Bead Art with a massive selection of components to create jewelry. Within walking distance, one can stroll to the the Happy Salmon Gallery and a plethora of antique/collectible shops.
The Highland Art Center of the Snyder Highland
Foundation is located at 691 Main Street in Weaverville. The mission and purpose of the Snyder/highland Art Center is to offer a place for local and regional artists and artisans to showcase and promote their art in a beautiful setting in downtown Weaverville. We work hard to assist our local artists in advancing their careers in all aspects of the Arts using modern marketing techniques, offering an Annual Scholarship to a local area student and creating lasting community partnerships in Trinity County and the surrounding areas. The Main Street Gallery is located at 490 Main Street in Weaverville. We are an all volunteer gallery owned and operated by 10 women artists and continuing due to the amazing outpouring of community and artist memberships and donated hours. Our two gallery rooms exhibit original fine artwork in such media as acrylic, oil, pastel, watercolor, graphics, photography, sculpture, and mixed media. Our Space Gallery and Working Studio is located at 555 Main Street, # C, Weaverville, CA on the corner of Hwy 3 and Hwy 299, in Historic Weaverville.
Our Space Art Gallery upcoming changes in days and hours. Beginning September 1, Our Space will be open to the public Thursday - Sunday. Thursday hours are 11 - 5:30 with teatime from 4 - 5:30, open to the public. Friday and Saturday are 11 - 7 and Sunday noon - 5:30.

MezoZoica Gallery at 155 Main Street, featuring treasures of nature, artisan jewelry and antique prints, will be displaying studies and large paintings from Risa's works in progress.
The Happy Salmon Gallery resides at 140 Miner Street in the TAHA House (Trinity Alliance for the Healing Arts) at the corner of Oregon Street and Miner Street., The gallery art exhibits run for 2 months with the new exhibits revealed to the public during the Art Cruise, 1st Saturday of each month.
